November 18, 2020 Trees to Meet You

Today we explore traffic in this town. So many good drivers…

Just after stopping for fuel and some supplies like a snack and a cool air freshener, Verdir was surprised when a tree jumped out in front of him on the freeway. Using his above average abilities to drive, he managed to swerve around it, but then it jumped back in front of him. Insanity! In San Nitty weird things can happen, but this is pushing the limits. But no sooner had he evaded this obstacle, when the tree jumps back in front of Verdir. Taxed to the limit, he still manages to swing around the tree. But, as the pattern seemed to continue to his disbelief, the tree was back before his eyes. That was the one. Although Verdir was above average, he was not able to stay on the road due to his last maneuver placing him into a skid and landing him upside down. His nemesis, the tree, ended up on the roof of the car right above the rear view mirror where Verdir had hung the air freshener that smelled of fresh pine.
